Finding the time to exercise can be a struggle.
You’ve got so many tasks to juggle around and it gets to the end of the day and you’re just too tired to get up and do it!
Here are 4 ways for busy people to get some exercise into their lives.
Get Up Earlier!
One of the most obvious things you can do is to get up 30 minutes earlier and get moving!
As you get in better shape and your stamina increases you will need less sleep anyway so it may be tough at first but it will get easier.
I have recently started using a sleep tracking app called Sleep Tracker that tracks your movement and wakes you up at just the right time.
Since using this app I’ve stopped oversleeping and wake up earlier feeling better.
Exercising is a great way to wake up and get your brain going which will get you ready for the day ahead.
What is exercise anyway?
It’s just movement.
The more you move the more calories you will burn.
If you’re so busy that you can’t spare 30-60 minutes a day for exercise then go for the slow burn by fidgeting and swaying at your desk a little bit.
You’ll burn 25% more calories this way which over the course of a day can add up to that of a real workout!
Exercise doesn’t have to last for hours or even 30 minutes.
You can cram a good workout into 10-15 minutes if you really go ham on it.
Interval training is when you exercise like a mad thing for a minute and then take a 30 second break.
Many people like to use something like a treadmill for this or you can do resistance exercises like push-ups and squats which are great at burning calories and helping you tone up.
Force Yourself To Do It!
No matter how busy you are there’s probably something in your life that you can cut out to make time for some daily exercise.
The best thing you can do is get yourself into a routine and exercise at the same time every day.
So, no matter what at this time of day you know it’s time to exercise and that’s it.
Your health is the most important thing so make time for it!
